Franklin Half Guide was created to provide coin collectors with information on this intriguing United States coin series.

The series began in 1948 after the highly popular Walking Liberty Half Dollar Series and ended in 1963 before the also popular Kennedy Half Dollar was introduced. Although the series was under appreciated during its issuance, it is now appreciated and pursued by many collectors for its unique highlights and challenges. High grade coins are often difficult to obtain, particularly with Full Bell Lines.

This site contains images of Franklin Half Dollars, mintage information, coin specifications, and descriptions of the coins released each year. Most of the images used on the site are from a personal collection and may not be reused without permission.
