Franklin Half Guide was created to help you learn about the Franklin Half Dollar coin series.

The series began in 1948 after the highly popular Walking Liberty Half Dollar Series and ended in 1963 before the also popular Kennedy Half Dollar was introduced. Although the series was under appreciated during its lifetime, it provides coin collectors with many interesting highlights and challenges. High grade coins are often difficult to obtain, particularly with Full Bell Lines.
